Singular Landscapes

Singular Landscapes gathers selected landscape photographs from Scotland and Aotearoa New Zealand. Rather than forming a closed series, these works hold particular encounters with place: coast, mountain, loch, volcanic ground, open water, winter light and shifting atmosphere.

The photographs are grounded in direct looking and physical presence within the land. Some works are quiet and still; others carry stronger weather, distance, exposure or later reinterpretation. Together they trace landscape as an ongoing relationship with place rather than a single location, style or fixed body of work.
